The exhibition pays tribute to the importance of the local community & the ecological contribution many volunteers have made to ensure the longevity of the world through nurturing this habitat. The exhibition will be opened by Alexandra Seddon on Saturday 2 September at 11am. This project was supported by the Joyce Spencer Textiles Fellowship.

Shadows: Spiral Members & invited Artists
22 September – 18 October
Playing with illusions is the delight of the artist. In this group exhibition a range of creative expressions explore the real & whimsical worlds of light & dark, the life behind or a place to hide; the echo of objects across a room; optical illusions; the puzzle of a mirror & its reflections; patterns cast on surfaces. A visual playground in various mediums. Be ready for surprises.

Uplifting – Tony Sweeting, Anneke Paijmans, Bill Insch
20 October – 8 November
This is a challenging show for these artists. They endeavour to see the up side of the darker aspects of life as we find them in these ‘unprecedented’ times.
Each artist is working mostly independently in interpreting this theme, from environmental, personal & political perspectives. A variety of media is used: paintings, ceramics, drawings. A collaborative printmaking project forms part of the exhibition, where Bill & Anneke attempt to bring Tony’s old etching press into service.
