A Still Life

Karen Sedaitis

Always Was Always Will Be

Always Was, Always Will Be is a celebration of local indigenous arts and culture.  We recognise that First Nations people have cared for this continent for over 65,000 years and are spiritually and culturally connected to this country. Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people were Australia’s first explorers, first navigators, first engineers, first farmers, first botanists, first scientists, first diplomats, first astronomers and first artists.

Untethered Tulgeen Art in the Garage

13 November - 2 December

Art in the Garage has been Tulgeen Disability Services flagship creative arts program since its establishment in 2001. There will be a diverse range of works in ‘Untethered’. Some works are a response to the fires. For instance, Majella Bailey’s ‘Wombat Hole’ is a depiction of the reported incidents of a variety of animals sheltering in wombat holes. Whereas other works focus on the artists' individual interests. All together they make a lively, positive and exciting statement and are not bound by the usual convention.
