UnEarthed
22 July - 31 August
An exhibition featuring the art of many of the south coast ceramists & potters who are working quietly (or not) in their own little patches of dirt, producing ceramic art that is specific to their local clay, weather, community, environments, inspiration. Some are well known, others rarely seen.
This exhibition aims to “UnEarth” some of these gems & bring them into the light.
Opening Friday 22nd July @ 5pm. All welcome.
Extended hours on Saturday 6th August 10am - 4pm for Sapphire Coast Art Trail.
Interwoven 6
2 - 21 September
Interwoven 2022 will showcase works by textile artists & weavers from the NSW South Coast & the Canberra region, including some new artists. While drawing on a variety of weaving traditions, artists may also engage with the contemporary world by incorporating man made or natural materials & may refer to a range of social or environmental issues.
Wild - Spiral Members & Friends Group Exhibition
23 September - 19 October
A Spiral Gallery Group show, exhibiting the works of artist members & friends exploring wild, natural & undomesticated states of existence. Media will include paint, ink, pencil, wild-clay ceramics, wool, fabric & jewellery.
Intertidal - Mandy Hillson & Stephanie Simko
21 October - 9 November
Intertidal will explore & reflect the artists’ love of the intertidal zone, as a place - ever changing, reflecting the rhythms of nature, its beauty & a contemplation on impermanence & the ebb & flow of life.
Bandits with Brushes – Art in the Garage
11-30 November
Art in the Garage returns with an explosive, colourful exhibition of drawings, paintings, sculpture & textiles by 22 artists who have created dynamic artworks that show their diverse stories.
Artesanato - Summer @ Spiral Gallery 1

Spiral Gallery's Artists & Friends annual Cash, Card & Carry -
a smorgasbord of original artworks for the summer season: ceramics, jewellery, clothing, prints, paintings, handcrafted wood & knives, baskets, glassware & more.

A cash, card & carry exhibition of functional & sculptural ceramics by new & emerging South Coast artists. This project was made possible by the Australian Government's Regional Arts Fund, which
supports the arts in regional & remote Australia.

The underlying theme of my work is based on landscape, with the addition of other elements into the compositions to give the viewer an extra dimension to the work. Sometimes these elements may have a slightly whimsical aspect.
