Growth Rings: Ann McMahon solo exhibition

5 February – 3 March

Ann McMahon is drawn to the tactile, aesthetic & narrative qualities of textiles, a fascination she pursued during studies in the ANU School of Art Textiles Workshop. Since graduating in 2000 she has worked extensively in three dimensional off-loom weaving with recycled waste & harvested materials. Her work expresses through a merging of form & materiality to explore the environment, economic equity & sustainability as well as the nature of human existence.

Juncture: a point between the past & the future.  

5 March – 24 March

Spiral Gallery hosts a recovery exhibition for local artists impacted by the fires in our region in 2019-20. This exhibition is funded by the Bega Valley Shire Council Community Recovery Contribution.

Coastal Clay Wall Art: Kym Brookes Solo - Gallery 2

Exquisite wall pieces from clay, banskia pods, gum nuts, palm husks, dried wood & foraged materials ‘collected from the Coast, fired in Bega, made in Merimbula’.

Exhibition of ceramics & textiles inspired by the flora & fauna they are grateful to be surrounded by & immersed in.

In the Beginning – Genesis

This exhibition of artworks explores the interconnection between growth & the beauty of the natural world. From the origin of the inception of the natural & its journey to now. The artists wish to present a showcase of varied art disciplines which create a visual experience through painting, sculpture & objects & poetry.
