Koala Cups made by ‘Koala Inc’

Anneke Paijmans

Two Thumbs Wildlife Trust  (koalas have two thumbs on each hand, did you know?) is a trio of Koala sanctuaries and a rehabilitation centre near Numeralla, NSW, established by James Fitzgerald. The local koala people from Tanja have spent some time with him up there doing work. He is both caring and compassionate. He also does community education on koalas and other wildlife care. The Hercules plane that crashed during the recent fires was defending the sanctuary at the time. The Two Thumbs Sanctuary’s sheds, houses, machinery and all the koalas in its care were lost in the blaze. Volunteer organizations, teams of koala specialists and arborists have offered their full support to build another koala enclosure and continue the work of rescuing, treating and bringing into care any wildlife in need.

The entire proceeds of the sale of these Koala Cups will go towards this goal. 9.5 x 7.5  cm
